Hi
I'm getting this error when I log in:

/usr/bin/xauth: error in locking authority file /home/acondron/.Xauthority

If I do ls -a I see
-rw------- 1 acondron aces 2604 Aug 6 11:16 .Xauthority
-rw------- 2 acondron aces 0 Aug 6 11:20 .Xauthority-c
-rw------- 2 acondron aces 0 Aug 6 11:20 .Xauthority-l
-rw------- 1 acondron aces 2651 Aug 6 11:20 .Xauthority-n

Prior to this I was changing my password on AO using yppasswd
I then accidentally typed startx while logged in to AO as this is what I
use on my machine in Cygwin to bring up an Xterm.
And tried to kill a few processes, one of whihc with .Authen (or
something similar) I think this may have been the problem?

Is it just a case of deleting these files?
Hope you can help
Call me if its easier: 508-289-3808
Thanks
Alan
