[Aces-support] ACES frozen again?

And more data indicting the switch: I finally got results from geo, and 
here's what happens:
-bash-3.1$ date
Thu Sep 20 16:00:01 EDT 2007
-bash-3.1$ cd /net/ds-0b/export
-bash: cd: /net/ds-0b/export: No such file or directory

A direct login to ds-0b.csail.mit.edu also fails.
