A couple of problems with cluster:
1. Jobs on GEO stalled and cannot exit, eg
95460.geo mick long     run83_20      --     12   1    -- 24:00 E 24:01
95506.geo mick long     run83all      --     12   1    -- 24:00 E 24:00

2. AO was down

3. Matlab cannot started due to license error, maybe because AO is the 
license server and AO was down?
License Manager Error -15.
Cannot connect to license server system.
  The license server manager (lmgrd) has not been started yet,
  the wrong port at host or license file is being used, or the
  port or hostname in the license file has been changed.

FLEXnet Licensing error:-15,570.  System Error: 115 "Operation now in 
progress"
For further information, refer to the FLEXnet Licensing End User Guide,

MATLAB is unable to connect to the license server.
Make sure the SERVER line in your license file is correct.
Have your MATLAB administrator verify that the license manager is 
running and validate network services.
